About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This long-term contract position involves managing extensive product information updates across various internal platforms. The ideal candidate thrives on performing precise, consistent work within clearly outlined procedures, handling repetitive administrative tasks independently while meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain product records in multiple company databases and systems.
- Accurately update item and reference details for major retail accounts.
- Verify data for completeness and accuracy before final submission.
- Efficiently utilize several systems while following defined workflows and documentation rules.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or gaps.
- Complete recurring data entry assignments within required timeframes, upholding high quality standards.
- Manage large volumes of information systematically in a process-driven environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years experience in data entry, administrative assistance, or similar office roles.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong typing skills with accuracy in entering text and numeric data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to maintain organized records.
- Ability to work independently under repetitive and deadline-sensitive conditions.
