About Leafe and the Role
Leafe is an expanding hospitality technology firm focused on simplifying compliance, operations, workforce activity, and business performance via an integrated platform. As the company enters a key growth phase, it seeks to enhance its use of product and customer data and reinforce strategic decision-making through data. To support this endeavor, Leafe is recruiting its first dedicated data analyst to establish a data-driven foundation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and sustain Leafe's data analytics systems and business intelligence dashboards.
- Aggregate data from diverse sources such as product tools, marketing, sales data, and platforms including Firebase/Firestore, Segment, Amplitude, Google Analytics, and advertising channels.
- Create precise and efficient SQL queries for data extraction, combination, manipulation, and analysis.
- Convert broad business inquiries into specific analytical projects.
- Evaluate customer behavior, product usage patterns, retention rates, monthly recurring revenue (MRR), conversion metrics, and marketing outcomes.
- Detect business trends, potential risks, opportunities, and performance insights.
- Assist in guiding decisions related to marketing budgets, customer acquisition strategies, pricing models, retention initiatives, and product adoption.
- Enhance data quality, uniformity, and accessibility throughout the company.
- Design clear, actionable dashboards and reports tailored for leadership and operational teams.
- Effectively communicate analytical insights to stakeholders without technical backgrounds, including senior management.
- Promote data literacy and nurture a culture driven by data insights across the organization.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in SQL with the capability to compose clean and efficient queries.
- Experience handling data from multiple systems, platforms, or APIs.
- Skilled at cleaning, structuring, and modeling data for effective reporting and analysis.
- Experienced in building dashboards, reports, or data visualization tools.
- Adept at transforming broad business questions into focused analyses and actionable recommendations.
- Capable of explaining complex data findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong commercial awareness linking data-derived insights to tangible business outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Background in SaaS, subscription-based services, marketplaces, hospitality, or startup environments.
- Familiarity with Firebase/Firestore, Segment, Amplitude, Google Analytics, and online advertising platforms.
- Experience analyzing MRR, retention, conversion rates, customer cohorts, product engagement, or marketing performance metrics.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase.

Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between £40,000 and £50,000 based on experience.
