About The Role

The role seeks an experienced Data Analyst specializing in cybersecurity performance metrics and ROI evaluation to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will apply advanced data analysis methods to illustrate the value of the cybersecurity training platform to important client accounts. Their analytical insights will guide strategic decisions, improve training initiatives, and demonstrate effectiveness to high-level stakeholders. This fully remote position prioritizes candidates located on the US East Coast. Collaboration with Product and Data Engineering teams is essential to align platform data collection with reporting requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Quantify and showcase the return on investment of the cybersecurity platform for significant clients using data analysis.
• Use SQL and Python to dissect complex datasets to reveal training effects on human risk factors and security incidents.
• Interpret executive business needs into actionable technical data strategies.
• Develop ROI frameworks and compelling narratives for presentation to senior leadership.
• Analyze extensive datasets to correlate training participation with security results.
• Build interactive reports and dashboards using Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to communicate key performance indicators.
• Perform in-depth investigations into user actions and simulation logs to detect high-risk groups.
• Offer strategic advice to clients for refining training programs based on engagement and risk analytics.
• Maintain data integrity by auditing logs and reports to ensure reliability and consistency.
• Leverage Excel to quickly create financial models and conduct on-demand risk evaluations.
• Lead business reviews with executives, sharing insights and progress about security posture improvements.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure data telemetry satisfies analytical and reporting needs.

Required Qualifications

• Mastery of SQL or Snowflake for handling complex relational database queries.
• Extensive expertise in Python for data preprocessing, automation tasks, and statistical analysis.
• Competence in visualization software such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for data presentation.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and creating financial models.
• Strong ability to communicate technical findings effectively to senior leadership.
• Proven skills in developing persuasive slide presentations that align with a coherent story.
• Experience managing varied client expectations and addressing diverse stakeholder requirements.
• Knowledge of client success metrics including churn rates, user adoption, engagement funnels, and learning assessments.
• Familiarity with the educational technology sector is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually.
