Job description
Role Overview
In this position, you will play a crucial role bridging data management and sales control. Your responsibility will be to ensure high data quality and transform data into valuable insights that actively support our sales team and reveal growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management & Master Data: Restructure, maintain, and continuously enhance customer and sales master data.
- Pricing and Price Lists: Maintain, update, standardize, and integrate these into the customer structure.
- Ensure data quality and consistency within the ERP system.
- Identify and rectify data inconsistencies.
- Develop data standards and processes further.
- Sales Analytics & Reporting: Produce analyses for existing customers including revenue trends and purchasing behavior.
- Conduct potential and segmentation analyses.
- Develop and enhance reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
- Derive actionable recommendations to support the sales force.
- Business Support: Develop ad hoc analyses for the sales team and management.
- Prepare customer and market information to facilitate strategic decisions.
- Support the definition and advancement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Candidate Profile
- Completed degree in fields like business administration, business informatics, data analytics, or equivalent qualifications.
- Several years (approximately 2 to 5 years) of relevant experience in data management, master data, pricing, analytics, reporting, and business analysis.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel usage.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like ORACLE or SAP.
- Preferred but not mandatory: knowledge of SQL or databases.
- Experience within sales environments or commercial analytics.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com (CRM systems).
