About the Role

We are looking for a detail-focused and inquisitive Data Analytics Intern to work remotely with a rapidly growing confidential startup. This opportunity offers direct collaboration with founding teams, hands-on experience in data extraction, dashboard creation, and enabling data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Gather, clean, and analyze both structured and unstructured datasets
Conduct exploratory data analysis to detect trends and patterns
Create and manage dashboards and business insight reports
Develop efficient SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
Help define business KPIs and performance indicators
Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and business units
Communicate insights clearly and in an actionable way

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related disciplines
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Basic skills in SQL
Familiar with Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy or similar tools
Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with real-world datasets or running analytics projects
Understanding of business metrics and performance monitoring
Exposure to statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
Comfortable in startup or fast-moving work settings
