Role Overview

The Data Analyst / Front-End App Developer will convert complex purchasing data into clear, actionable insights by designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and interactive data applications. Collaborating closely with the Data & AI Product Owner, this role ensures alignment with business requirements, upholds design best practices, and delivers a seamless user experience. Technical proficiency in data analysis and front-end development paired with deep knowledge of purchasing business processes is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Create and upkeep interactive dashboards and front-end data reporting tools that meet business and product specifications.
Develop user-friendly features like filters, drill-downs, and interactive data views to improve accessibility and interaction.
Maintain data analytics accuracy and consistency, following organization-wide standards and definitions.
Examine purchasing datasets to detect patterns, irregularities, and extract actionable insights supporting strategic decisions.
Work alongside Data Managers and Product Owner to validate data integrity and address inconsistencies.
Facilitate root-cause investigation by highlighting significant data trends and anomalies.
Convert business needs into workable analytics and front-end functionalities.
Support testing, validation, and deployment phases to assure data product quality and reliability.
Continuously identify and implement process enhancements and automation opportunities to improve data delivery and user experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related disciplines; master’s degree considered advantageous.
Demonstrated background in data analysis, dashboard creation, and frontend application development.
Expertise in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalents.
Proficient with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
Skilled with SQL and knowledgeable in data querying and management methodologies.
Experience in data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting techniques.
Strong problem-solving ability and adeptness at translating business objectives into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
