Data Analyst

Role Overview

Spait Infotech is seeking a Data Analyst to support business decision-making through accurate reporting, analysis, and insight generation. This onsite role is based in Ireland and focuses on turning raw data into clear, actionable information for management and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather data from different sources, prepare it for analysis, and clean it for accuracy.
• Build dashboards and reports with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Check datasets for consistency, correctness, and integrity before reporting.
• Spot patterns, trends, and business opportunities hidden in the data.
• Prepare recurring reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for leadership.
• Coordinate with teams across the business to understand reporting and analysis needs.
• Use SQL to pull, transform, and organize data for analysis.
• Share findings, insights, and recommendations with stakeholders in a clear way.
• Track KPIs and compile performance summaries for business review.
• Handle ad hoc analysis requests from business teams when needed.

Required Skills

• Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
• Solid SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Understanding of reporting, analysis, and data interpretation.
• Exposure to Python or R will be a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
