Role Overview
This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Cybersecurity & Forensics Officer will lead efforts in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and digital forensic investigations, while also deploying security strategies to safeguard organizational data and systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Competence in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing (VAPT), and digital forensics methodologies
- Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Practical experience implementing measures to reduce security risks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Authorization and ability to work within Nairobi County, Kenya
- Professional certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are advantageous
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
