직무 설명
Position Overview
Join the NZ Post team in Palmerston North as a Customer Service Representative on a permanent part-time basis. You'll actively contribute to helping New Zealand businesses thrive, connecting families internationally, strengthening communities, and spreading positive experiences daily. Work is based at the Terrace End Retail Branch, providing face-to-face customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries, requests, and concerns directly at the branch.
- Assist customers with parcel pickups and drop-offs, postage-related questions, and NZTA transactions.
- Engage in physically active duties including lifting freight up to 25 kilograms and working on your feet throughout your shift.
- Apply problem-solving skills to respond effectively to varying customer needs.
Work Schedule
The role involves working 22 hours per week with the following shifts: Tuesday 10:00–17:45, Thursday 10:00–17:00, Friday 12:30–17:45, and Saturday 08:30–12:15.

Applicant Requirements
- Availability for the specified shifts.
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 kilograms and remain standing throughout shifts.
- Reliable transportation to commute to work location.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for quick decision-making.
- Administration skills including data entry accuracy.
- Comfort and confidence interacting with diverse customers in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Proof of eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory.
- Successful candidates must pass a drug test and security clearance.
