Customer Experience Representative

About the Role

Join a dynamic and collaborative team as a Customer Experience Representative in a fast-paced and supportive setting. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while working Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding frontline customer service in person, via email, and phone communications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant procedures, regulations, bylaws, and legislative standards.
• Provide assistance to residents by facilitating services for external agencies, including driver licensing, RealMe identity verification, IRD number applications, and SuperGold card photo ID.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all client and Council information.
• Accurately log enquiries that require further follow-up or that cannot be resolved at first contact, referring them to appropriate Council staff.
• Use practical skills to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum two years of prior customer service experience.
• Proven ability to handle public interactions and navigate challenging situations tactfully.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of connecting with diverse age groups, cultures, and backgrounds, with a genuine passion for communication.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-moving work environment, mastering new technologies and systems rapidly.
• Self-driven, calm under pressure, dependable, and flexible.
