Role overview
This position is for a custodial services team member based in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept facilities so customers, guests, and coworkers can work and visit in a healthy environment. Key responsibilities
- Follow established procedures and safety practices to help maintain a secure workplace, including compliance with applicable OSHA, local, state, federal, and company rules.
- Keep work areas neat and sanitary to support the health and safety of others.
- Use, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment correctly.
- Clean assigned spaces according to company and client standards.
- Handle trash collection, storage, disposal, and transport to the designated disposal locations.
- Submit maintenance issues to the right team through work order requests.
- Lock and unlock the facility as needed and help ensure the premises remain secure.
- Protect company property and assets.

Qualifications and working conditions
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow basic safety rules and precautions when working around physical hazards and chemical cleaners.

- Flexibility to respond to guest needs.
- This role can involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and long periods of walking or standing.
