The Role
The Creative Brewer position involves overseeing all daily brewing activities, managing processes from raw ingredients to finished product. The role includes designing innovative beer recipes, conducting experimental small-batches, and maintaining stringent quality standards. Collaboration with packaging teams is crucial to ensure smooth operation from brewing to final product packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise brewing processes covering both hot and cold production phases.
- Develop new and distinctive beer recipes while experimenting with ingredients.
- Perform continuous quality control by monitoring fermentation, yeast condition, and taste profiles.
- Enforce thorough sanitation practices for tanks, lines, and equipment to guarantee cleanliness.
- Support packaging efforts involving canning, bottling, and kegging activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in professional brewing environments.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for craft beer culture, flavor innovation, and trend awareness.
- Exhibit physical endurance to repeatedly lift up to 55 pounds and stand during extended shifts.
- Maintain a high degree of attention to detail, following safety protocols and precise recipe measurements.
- Having hands-on experience with high-speed canning or bottling machinery is considered a significant advantage.
