An international agricultural technology business is looking for a senior leader to guide its European operations. The company specializes in crop nutrition, fertilizer innovation, and sustainable farming solutions, and it wants someone who can accelerate regional growth, elevate the brand, and position the organization as a trusted technology partner for agriculture.

This position is designed for a leader who can connect scientific progress with commercial outcomes, influence the market over the long term, and help shape strategy across international markets.

What You Will Do

• Set and roll out long-range business plans as well as yearly operating priorities for the European market.
• Study market shifts, competitor activity, and customer expectations to uncover new growth paths.
• Shape positioning and launch plans for innovative agricultural products and solutions.
• Strengthen the company’s standing as a recognized platform for agricultural innovation and technology.
• Build brand-led initiatives and thought-leadership programs for key industry audiences.
• Increase exposure through industry media, technical articles, conferences, and strategic alliances.
• Work closely with research, technical, and commercial teams to localize and commercialize agricultural technologies.
• Support the creation of region-specific product solutions aligned with agronomic needs.
• Spot opportunities for technology transfer and partnership-driven innovation.
• Create and sustain relationships with associations, research bodies, public agencies, and influential industry leaders.
• Represent the business at major conferences, forums, and other sector events.
• Build collaboration opportunities with global agricultural groups and partners.
• Lead communication and marketing efforts across both digital and offline channels.
• Oversee corporate communications, media relations, and reputation management.
• Keep messaging consistent and ensure strong engagement across stakeholders.
• Encourage the use of digital platforms and tools to improve communication, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency.
• Promote data-led decision-making and stronger collaboration across functions.
• Recruit, develop, and lead an international team with high performance standards.
• Set up talent development and succession planning processes.
• Foster a culture that is collaborative, accountable, and innovation-focused.

Experience And Background

• At least 10 years of experience in agriculture-related sectors, ideally in crop protection, fertilizers, crop nutrition, biologicals, or agricultural technology.
• Background in senior marketing, branding, business leadership, or general management roles.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling brands, products, or business units.
• Experience working with multinational organizations and international stakeholders.
• Exposure to leading global agricultural companies is an advantage, especially in crop science, fertilizer, crop nutrition, or agritech.
• Familiarity with European agricultural markets and related regulatory environments is preferred.
• Experience managing cross-border and multicultural teams is desirable.
