Job Overview
This role supports member correspondence operations by generating clinical determination letters directed to members and providers. The incumbent adheres to established procedures ensuring communications are clear, accurate, and compliant with healthcare regulations. The position plays a vital role in promoting quality and cost-effective care for members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting clinical determination letters that are clear and meet specified readability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all correspondence complies with regulatory standards, including format and plain language requirements.
- Monitor and manage letter queues to guarantee prompt creation and dispatch of all correspondence.
- Address inquiries and troubleshoot any issues pertaining to letter generation or distribution.
- Contribute to feedback initiatives aimed at maintaining letter accuracy and incorporating pertinent information.
- Exhibit strong focus on detail to uphold company and regulatory requirements for correspondence quality.
- Develop foundational knowledge of healthcare programs, procedures, and relevant software tools.
- Maintain clear and succinct written communications.
- Provide support to both technical and non-technical internal teams to facilitate correct letter production processes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of one year administrative support experience, ideally within a healthcare setting supporting correspondence or clinical communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience as a Correspondence Processor at Molina Healthcare is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to comply with letter generation regulations and internal protocols.
- Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to juggle multiple letter queues and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills ensuring precise and clear correspondence.
- Eagerness to acquire new skills and adapt to diverse software applications and lines of business.
- Competence in researching, incorporating feedback, and updating letters to meet quality standards.
- Strong multitasking capability to uphold quality and compliance in a high-volume environment.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to applicable regulations and policies in clinical correspondence management.
- Capacity to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and relevant software applications.
Compensation and Additional Information
