Role Overview
This full-time on-site position is located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Contract Administrator will be tasked with creating, reviewing, and managing contracts involving clients, suppliers, and partners ensuring precision, compliance, and consistency with organizational policies. Key duties include managing contract approval workflows, monitoring crucial deadlines and obligations, facilitating negotiations with various stakeholders, and working closely with procurement and valuation teams to ensure contracts are clear and well-structured. Continuous oversight of contract execution, risk identification, suggesting enhancements, and maintaining comprehensive records is expected. Effective communication with internal teams and external entities supports seamless contract operations and informed decisions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in contract management practices such as drafting, reviewing, tracking, and documenting agreements.
- Expertise in contract negotiation and procurement to aid in vendor selection, commercial term agreement, and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical capabilities to understand contract terms, detect risks, and analyze financial along with legal implications.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing to effectively engage clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Experience in contract administration, legal support, or procurement within corporate, real estate, or investment sectors is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in Law, Engineering, or related disciplines is desirable.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational abilities and familiarity with common office tools and contract management software.
