Role Overview

This position involves leading comprehensive projects concerning technical accounting and financial reporting, managing client relationships, and ensuring effective and timely delivery of services. You will apply knowledge of accounting standards such as Indian GAAP, Ind AS, US GAAP, and IFRS in practical finance and compliance settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects end to end, providing guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues.
• Oversee client engagement and monitor progress and financial/operational aspects of projects.
• Apply and interpret various accounting standards (IGAAP, Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP) for GAAP conversions and technical accounting inquiries.
• Offer technical and process-related financial reporting support to clients, assisting with compliance related to securities listings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advisory services capabilities and industry developments.
• Work efficiently under strict deadlines.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Strong expertise in accounting standards and finance function operations.
• Experience with financial reporting implications tied to mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
• Experience in finance transformation and reporting projects advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analytics skills; familiarity with advanced analytical tools is beneficial.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to manage clients effectively.
• Good organizational, planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of IT systems, including proficiency in MS Office and beneficial experience with SAP or Oracle.
• Professional qualification as Chartered Accountant (CA) required.

Additional Information

• Applicants can be CA freshers up to professionals with five years of post-qualification experience.
• Relevant certifications will be considered a plus.
