Role Overview
O’Neill & Brennan Ireland is currently looking for a seasoned Senior Site Manager to join their team for a project based in County Galway. This leadership role involves client engagement and demands expertise in site management, operational coordination, overseeing teams, and maintaining commercial insight. The appointed individual will oversee a skilled team tasked with maintenance, minor projects, cleanroom upgrades, and capital projects within an active site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and synchronize everyday operations on site.
- Support and manage site supervisors, sub-supervisors, and other operational staff.
- Serve as the main liaison between the client’s Facilities, Engineering, and Operations divisions.
- Organize and oversee maintenance and construction tasks.
- Distribute labour, materials, and resources effectively across various simultaneous work activities.
- Ensure detailed pre-planning, sequencing, and communication of all works before initiation.
- Uphold stringent standards concerning safety, quality, cleanliness, and professionalism.
- Foster and sustain strong professional relationships with client contacts at every organizational level.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in site management roles.
- Experience managing projects involving cleanrooms or controlled environments.
- Background in facilities management or maintenance operations is essential.
- Ability to coordinate mechanical, electrical, or building construction activities.
- Knowledge of small-scale project estimating and commercial management practices.
- Competence in delegating tasks to skilled supervisors and tradespeople.
- Skilled in evaluating risks related to labour, materials, scheduling, and project delivery.
- Capability to handle multiple small to medium-sized projects concurrently.
