Compliance Officer

About the Role

Join SoftConstruct as a Compliance Officer and become part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining the highest regulatory standards. In this role, you will monitor evolving regulations, particularly across EU markets, identify potential compliance risks, and ensure strict adherence to AML, Responsible Gambling, Data Protection, and licensing rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and interpret regulatory updates to inform company policies.
• Identify business areas vulnerable to compliance risks and propose improvements.
• Develop and regularly update policies, procedures, and manuals to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk-based audits and uphold AML, Responsible Gambling, and Operational manuals.
• Prepare and present compliance reports and assessments to senior management and external parties.
• Perform ongoing compliance checks, including review of new content releases and monthly site and social media reporting.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement and evaluate compliance measures.
• Support the Deputy Head of Compliance in delivering comprehensive compliance training.
• Work across crucial compliance domains such as AML, CTF, gambling licensing, advertising regulations, data protection, and IBIA standards.
• Assist development teams to incorporate compliance features in new products.
• Prepare various regulatory reports and oversee review processes for flagged clients concerning AML and responsible gambling.
• Handle additional duties as assigned that align with job responsibilities and labor laws.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management roles.
• Solid grasp of business processes, risk assessment, and control frameworks.
• Proficient in conducting compliance assessments and evaluating risks.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with risk mitigation and compliance processes.
• Strong time management skills and ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with planning, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-driven professional capable of independent and team collaboration.
• Skilled at building strong professional relationships and maintaining composure under pressure.
• Familiarity with task management software is desirable.
• Knowledge in ethical hacking considered advantageous.
• Compliance certifications such as CCEP, CRCM, or CAMS are a plus.
