Role Overview
The Compliance Analyst is a part-time, remote position tasked with ensuring the Al-Ahsa Center for Commercial Arbitration's adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal policy guidelines related to arbitration and mediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review procedures and documentation daily to confirm compliance with relevant arbitration, mediation regulations, and organizational standards.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Monitor evolving laws affecting the organization and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify compliance requirements and expectations.
- Assist in creating or updating policies and designing controls to address compliance risks effectively.
- Respond to inquiries related to compliance and contribute to training programs that raise awareness about regulatory and ethical obligations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance frameworks to develop and oversee effective compliance programs.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate risks, interpret laws and regulations, and distill complex information into usable insights.
- Familiarity with Legal Compliance, particularly involving commercial law, arbitration, mediation, or alternative dispute resolution (ADR) regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, policies, and guidance for diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Public Administration, Compliance, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a remote, part-time environment.
- Experience in dispute resolution sectors such as arbitration centers, law firms, or regulatory agencies is beneficial.
- Comfortable using productivity applications including word processing and spreadsheets, as well as digital case management or compliance platforms.
