Role Overview
This position transcends traditional marketing by focusing on community-driven demand generation to expand a premium digital imaging ecosystem. Through meaningful engagements with creators, ambassadors, workshops, events, and educational initiatives, the role aims to foster authentic connections within the photography sector.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategies for community engagement that boost brand recognition and demand in the digital imaging market.
- Establish and nurture strong connections with photographers, videographers, filmmakers, ambassadors, photography clubs, and key industry stakeholders.
- Organize and lead various photography workshops, product demos, training programs, and educational sessions targeting photographers, creators, retailers, and partners.
- Forge and oversee partnerships with creators and influencers to encourage genuine brand advocacy.
- Coordinate and deliver workshops, masterclasses, product launches, roadshows, retail activations, and community-oriented events.
- Craft immersive product experiences that enhance brand awareness, consideration, and customer retention.
- Confidently present products during multiple event formats, translating technical specifications into customer benefits and engaging training experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, retailers, and partners to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
- Track and analyze campaign outcomes, community engagement levels, and market dynamics to refine demand generation efforts continuously.
- Collect and analyze customer and community feedback to inform forward-looking marketing and product strategies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in areas such as Community Marketing, Brand Activation, Creator or Influencer Marketing, Product Marketing, Event Marketing, or Marketing Communications.
- Preferably experienced within sectors like Digital Imaging, Consumer Electronics, Photography, Videography, Technology, or Lifestyle brands.
- Prior engagement with photography communities, creators, or ambassador programs is a notable advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- A genuine enthusiasm for photography and content creation, capable of engaging photography communities comfortably.
- Good grasp of digital imaging products, including mirrorless cameras and lenses.
- Understanding of fundamental photography and videography techniques.
- Knowledge of social media-based creator and influencer ecosystems.
- Expertise in community building and experiential marketing techniques.
- Experience in organizing events and workshops effectively.
- Competence in digital marketing and evaluating campaign performance.
- Hands-on experience with photography products or a background in related fields is a significant plus.
