Community Manager (Chinese Community)

Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Community Manager proficient in Chinese to energize, engage, and expand PancakeSwap's Chinese community. The ideal applicant should possess hands-on experience managing Chinese crypto communities, understand DeFi users and ecosystems, and have demonstrated success in community growth and engagement within this region.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive activation and organic growth of PancakeSwap's Chinese community through community-led initiatives.
• Serve as PancakeSwap's ambassador by actively participating in Chinese community channels, discussions, and Ask Me Anything (AMA) sessions to promote the company's products, brand, and ecosystem.
• Design and implement community events including operational projects, AMAs, online activities, and local offline meetups, ensuring clear targets for growth and engagement are met.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with crypto projects, communities, and ecosystem collaborators to elevate user involvement and community vitality.
• Manage PancakeSwap Chinese Ambassadors, supporting local community building, content creation, and event execution.
• Act as a conduit between the Chinese community and internal teams, providing systematic feedback on community and product insights to drive PancakeSwap's growth and success.
• Collaborate with Chinese content creators and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to produce high-quality, influential community content.
• Monitor community performance and produce weekly reports on activities, engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and actionable insights.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of community management experience in DeFi or the cryptocurrency sector.
• Native-level proficiency in Chinese and capable English communication skills for work.
• Strong understanding of Chinese crypto communities, DeFi domain, and community growth strategies.
• Familiarity with community and social platforms such as Discord, Telegram, and X, including the relevant tools.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
