Coder Auditor

Overview

Northern NSW Local Health District is looking for a Coder Auditor to support accurate and timely clinical coding across the service. The role focuses on improving coding quality through mentoring, audit activity, education, query management, correction of errors, continuous clinical documentation improvement, coded data analysis, and education around activity based funding.

This position is classified as Health Manager Level 1 and is offered as a permanent part-time or full-time role. The advertised pay range is $91,326.00 to $121,497.00 per year, pro rata, with working hours of up to 38 per week. The role identifier is REQ675876.

NSW Health offers flexible work arrangements, and the work location can be negotiated within Northern New South Wales Local Health District sites.

You will help strengthen clinical coding quality and support better health information outcomes by working across audits, education, documentation improvement, coding review, and analysis activities. The role also contributes to funding-related education and continuous improvement of coding practice.
