Cloud Project Manager

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognized company, Huawei, for an experienced Cloud Project Manager. The successful candidate will lead comprehensive cloud project execution, ensuring smooth communication across stakeholders, coordinating multiple teams, meeting critical milestones, and delivering quality cloud infrastructure alongside digital transformation solutions tailored for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan detailed project schedules with specific deliverables, timelines, and criteria for success.
• Oversee full project life cycles, spanning requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing phases, deployment, and maintenance support after launch.
• Monitor project advancement and report updates to leadership and stakeholders, proactively mitigating risks and resolving issues.
• Act as the central liaison for both internal teams and external partners throughout the implementation stages.
• Coordinate effectively among engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and business units to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects and engineering personnel to maintain technical compliance with private cloud standards such as OpenStack, VMware, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure the deployment of infrastructure, integration of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, identity management systems, and adherence to compliance frameworks.
• Manage partnerships with vendors, cloud providers, and third-party integrators as necessary.
• Balance resource allocation among internal and external teams to guarantee successful completion of tasks.
• Supervise compliance with data sovereignty, privacy, and security protocols aligned with enterprise policies and industry standards.

Qualifications and Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure or software implementation projects, including a minimum of 3 years focused on cloud environments.
• Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Practical experience with private cloud platforms such as VMware, OpenStack, Red Hat, or Nutanix.
• Proficiency in both agile and waterfall project methodologies; familiarity with hybrid project delivery is advantageous.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, container technologies, automation with tools like Ansible and Terraform, and service orchestration.
