Role Overview
We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Cleaners to join our team at a retail location in Chermside West, Queensland.
This role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, possess keen attention to detail, and take pride in maintaining clean, inviting areas for both clients and customers.
The position offers full-time hours following this schedule: Tuesday through Saturday from 12:30 AM to 8:06 AM. Compensation adheres to relevant award pay rates and entitlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning tasks to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Spot clean furnishings as needed.
- Sweep and mop floors regularly.
- Clean toilets thoroughly.
- Collect and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
- Clean glass surfaces inside and outside the premises.
- Dust all hard surfaces ensuring thorough cleanliness.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Capability to follow directions and independently manage tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Good knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
- Willingness and availability to work flexible hours including public holidays.
- Mandatory experience using floor care machinery such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers.
- Valid work authorization for Australia is required.
