About the Role

This role involves preparing residential properties for their next phase, whether after a tenant leaves, following maintenance or renovations, before new occupants arrive, or to maintain cleanliness for current residents. Bridgepoint Maintenance's cleaning team delivers services across Ontario, specializing in move-out, turnover, and post-maintenance cleaning. Occasionally, housekeeping tasks for occupied homes are also performed. The ideal candidate is reliable, meticulous, and capable of working independently to complete each assignment thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct move-out cleaning of residential rental units.
• Perform turnover cleaning on vacant properties.
• Carry out deep cleaning after maintenance, repairs, or renovations.
• Prepare homes before new tenants move in.
• Provide housekeeping services for occupied residences when scheduled.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and shared spaces.
• Detail cleaning including inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, and windowsills.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and debris removal.
• Complete final quality inspection before assignment closure.
• Take photos upon job completion as required.
• Report any damage, necessary maintenance, or cleaning issues needing follow-up.
• Update assignment status using a mobile work app.
• Travel directly between scheduled properties independently.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum two years of paid professional cleaning experience.
• Comfortable working independently on residential cleaning assignments.
• Experience in move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering consistent, quality results.
• Ability to recognize and report issues promptly.
• Professional communication with clients and operations staff.
• Own reliable vehicle and cleaning supplies/equipment.
• Smartphone capable of GPS, mobile work apps, photo capture, and job updates.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• Residential unit turnover cleaning expertise.
