Position Overview
Millennium Services Group seeks enthusiastic and dependable cleaners to join their Timaru team. This role suits individuals who thrive in a fast-moving setting, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in maintaining clean, inviting environments for customers and clients.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Part-time position
- Shift days: Tuesday and Friday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Hourly wage: $24.25
Primary Duties
- Carry out general cleaning tasks to a high-quality standard
- Clean office spaces
- Spot clean furniture
- Sweep and mop floors
- Collect rubbish
- Clean internal and external glass surfaces
- Dust all hard surface areas
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Capable of following instructions and independently managing tasks
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including public holidays as needed
- Experience handling floor care machines such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers is a plus
- Must be 18 years or older per company health and safety policies
- Proficient in English for communication, training, and safety instructions
Additional Requirements
- Possession of valid New Zealand work rights is mandatory
