Job description
Job Summary
We seek a Civil Engineer to lead and manage construction site operations by efficiently coordinating labor, materials, and resources to deliver projects timely, within budget, and meeting all quality and safety criteria ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction site tasks, ensuring manpower, materials, and equipment are used according to the design specifications, project timelines, and quality benchmarks.
- Facilitate coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants through regular discussions and follow-ups to address issues promptly and maintain workflow.
- Track daily work progress by preparing reports and monitoring schedules to achieve the planned project milestones.
- Conduct inspections on materials and workmanship to confirm adherence to quality requirements and reduce rework instances.
- Enforce safety regulations through toolbox meetings and compliance monitoring to maintain a safe, accident-free workplace.
- Create and maintain daily and weekly performance reports, reflecting actual on-site activities to support accurate project assessment and communication.
- Support planning processes by forecasting needs for labor, materials, and machinery in advance to avoid disruptions.
- Validate work quantities and site measurements against drawings to ensure precise invoicing and budget management.
