Role Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role is a full-time, paid leadership position, operating remotely within the United States. This executive will be responsible for setting Novara's vision, steering strategic priorities, and maintaining financial and operational health. Oversight includes finance, operations, sales, and strategic planning, ensuring alignment with Novara's mission to generate long-lasting future-focused value. Daily duties involve leading the executive team, managing resource allocation, spearheading business development, and cultivating partnerships to support sustainable growth. The CEO is also the public face of Novara, championing innovation, ethical leadership, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the company's long-term vision and mission.
• Lead all core functions including finance, operations, sales, and strategic planning.
• Manage resource prioritization and investment decisions aligned to strategic goals.
• Lead and develop the executive leadership team to drive organizational success.
• Drive business development and foster key external partnerships.
• Represent Novara externally, communicating vision and strategy effectively.

• Collaborate across distributed teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

• Proven financial expertise including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Strong operations leadership skills to build efficient, scalable processes.
• Strategic planning proficiency to manage risk and align initiatives with future needs.
• Experience leading sales or growth-oriented teams with abilities in market strategy and relationship cultivation.
• Extensive leadership background in innovative, mission-driven, or technology-centered organizations.
• Effectiveness in remote leadership, promoting clarity, trust, and cooperation across geographic boundaries.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ethical decision-making skills.
• Experience or background in AI, technology, education, or strategic foresight is highly advantageous.
• Advanced degrees in business, technology, or related areas are a plus.
