About the Role
This opportunity involves leading expansive organizational change initiatives designed to enhance adoption rates, operational efficiency, and overall business results. The individual will be responsible for architecting and deploying change management strategies aligned with strategic objectives, digital transformations, and ongoing enhancement efforts across complex and multifaceted organizational environments. Collaborating with senior leadership, project teams, and various business stakeholders, the role emphasizes fostering a culture that embraces change readiness, collaboration, and sustainable integration of new processes and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement detailed change management plans underpinning strategic projects, digital rollouts, and company-wide transformation programs.
- Oversee comprehensive change activities throughout the lifespan of projects to ensure successful delivery, acceptance, and alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate organizational changes impacting processes, technology, personnel, and culture to tailor change initiatives effectively.
- Work closely with executives and cross-functional teams to secure alignment, sponsorship, and commitment essential for transformation success.
- Create and administer communication strategies, training sessions, user engagement programs, and supportive documentation to facilitate seamless adoption.
- Develop strategies assessing readiness for change, project roadmaps, and feedback channels to boost user engagement and satisfaction.
- Identify potential risks, resistance factors, and challenges related to change, establishing mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Set and track adoption metrics, performance indicators, and success criteria to measure the effect of change initiatives.
- Promote ongoing improvement by integrating change management practices across programs and teams.
- Act as an intermediary among program management, project teams, business units, and communication departments to synchronize efforts.
- Manage change activities across all project phases, from initial planning through deployment and stabilization.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Applied Project Management, or related area with a minimum of 14 years relevant experience; or a Master's degree coupled with at least 12 years of pertinent experience.
- Proven mastery of change management frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR, or Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model.
- Track record of successfully steering large-scale transformation programs and facilitating adoption across diverse, cross-business units.
- Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide change management strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Excellent skills in communication, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation, capable of influencing leadership at varying levels.
- Competence in crafting and delivering training materials, communication plans, and strategies promoting adoption.
- Ability to prioritize dynamically changing demands, maintaining high organization and professional execution standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess impacts of change and quantify outcomes.
- Self-driven, highly organized, able to work independently while fostering collaborative team relationships.
- Familiarity with project or program management methodologies, including Agile frameworks, is an advantage.
- Change management certification, such as Prosci Change Management Certification, is preferred.
- Experience within supply chain, aerospace, defense, technology, or regulated sectors is beneficial.
- Capability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
