Change Management Lead

Overview

The Bureau of Meteorology is looking to recruit two skilled Change Management Leads who will be instrumental in driving change initiatives across a portfolio of projects and programs. One of these roles will have a continuing focus on building change capabilities, providing advice, and offering ongoing support, while the other will concentrate primarily on delivering project-specific change management assistance.

Key Responsibilities

The Change Management Leads will support the execution of the Bureau's transformation objectives by advising executive sponsors, program and project managers, as well as key enabling roles including business analysts and communications teams. They are responsible for fostering strong relationships with critical business units and stakeholders to thoroughly understand and evaluate change impacts. Additionally, they will design and implement robust strategies to ensure the effective adoption and long-term sustainability of new working methods introduced by program and delivery teams.

Contribution to Enterprise Framework

Part of their role includes contributing to the continuous enhancement of the enterprise transformation framework by managing and updating essential artifacts, tools, templates, and reports.

Desired Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working within government environments, with a strong understanding of projects that affect customers or communities.
