Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer with a courteous and friendly approach.
• Handle all purchase transactions efficiently and promptly, including deactivating merchandise according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Encourage customer engagement with company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
• Assist customers in packing and loading their purchases.
• Follow safety protocols consistently, including correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work station.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the cash register through accurate cash handling, strictly following company policies and staying alert to the surroundings.
• Refer customers to the Customer Service Manager for specific service or transactional matters when necessary.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40 CAD.
