About the Role
Join a Fortune 100 healthcare industry leader as a Care Coordinator in a fully remote position designed to support patients and healthcare providers throughout their treatment journeys. You'll facilitate therapy access, verify benefits, and assist patients with program enrollment and approvals, contributing meaningfully to patient care.
Work Details
- Compensation is $20 per hour paid weekly.
- Position is 100% remote for U.S. residents only.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts assigned between 7AM and 7PM CST.
- Mandatory virtual onboarding from 8AM to 5PM CST lasting 4 to 6 weeks.
- Initial contract lasts 2 months, with potential for extension or conversion to full-time.
- Start date is September 8, 2026, contingent upon completion of onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and process patient referrals and program applications precisely using internal CRM systems.
- Provide timely updates and answer inquiries to educate patients on their program status.
- Maintain clear, professional, and empathetic phone communication with patients and healthcare providers.
- Conduct outbound calls for follow-ups, benefit verifications, and information gathering.
- Document detailed case notes accurately using proprietary software during calls.
- Stay informed about internal policies to ensure compliance in all patient interactions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and escalate complex cases when necessary.
- Manage and monitor patient accounts through the full lifecycle of their program.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to multitask effectively while typing at least 40 words per minute during conversations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and documenting detailed case notes is preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance billing or pharmacy operations considered a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach.
- Strong attention to detail to provide high-quality documentation.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proven ability to meet daily and weekly performance targets.
- Willingness to learn and advance towards senior-level positions.
- Dependable attendance and effective time management.
Education & Additional Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferably 2 to 4 years of customer-facing or call center experience.
- Home workspace must be quiet, dedicated, and free of distractions.
- High-speed wired internet connection required with at least 15 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload speeds, and maximum 30ms ping; WiFi, dial-up, satellite, or cellular connections are not acceptable.
- Company equipment must be protected with a surge protector including network line protection.
