Role Overview

You will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories through videos that captivate the general public and effectively reach the MINDEF/SAF community via both broadcast and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging visual narratives for various types of video content targeting the general audience and MINDEF/SAF stakeholders across broadcast and online mediums.
• Adjust to diverse shooting environments, including news collection, lifestyle entertainment, and serious documentary storytelling.
• Handle multiple types of professional video equipment, such as video cameras, digital cameras, mobile devices, and auxiliary gear.
• Employ solid knowledge of cinematography and camera techniques to deliver quality footage tailored to each production’s needs.
• Perform foundational video editing tasks to enhance the final output.
• Operate UAV drones when necessary, provided the appropriate certifications are obtained.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of one year’s experience operating video cameras.
• Competent in handling a broad range of camera equipment including professional video and digital cameras, as well as mobile devices.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of clear email correspondence.
• A strong grasp of filmmaking and camera operation principles is favorable.
• Basic proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Experience and certification in drone operation are considered advantageous.
