Job Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time, on-site CAD Drafter to join our team in Fresno, CA. The primary responsibility of this position is to generate exact technical and architectural drawings by transforming design concepts into detailed CAD models and construction documents. The role requires interpreting schematics and instructions from architects and designers, updating and refining CAD drawings, and making sure all documentation aligns with relevant standards and building regulations.

Key Duties

• Develop and revise CAD drawings including layouts, sections, and detailed plans.
• Collaborate effectively with project team members to synchronize updates and project requirements.
• Maintain a well-organized digital file system for all drawing sets and project documents.
• Support the design process by producing accurate drawings that reflect the architects’ and clients’ specifications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in Revit software for creating and editing complex 2D and 3D models.
• Familiarity with Chaos Endscape software is a plus.
• Strong aptitude in technical and engineering drawings, including precise dimensioning, annotations, and adherence to professional drafting standards.
• Experience in architectural drawing production such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details tailored for custom designs.
• Excellent general drawing capabilities ensuring accuracy, appropriate scale, and clarity in both digital and printed formats.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Understanding of building codes, construction materials, and structural concepts linked to architectural projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers openly and on-site.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple drawing projects effectively within fast-moving deadlines.
