About the Role
LuLu Group India's premium bridal and ethnic wear retail segment, Lulu Celebrate, is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their Kochi, Kerala team. Candidates must have strong buying expertise specifically in sarees and ethnic wear.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure bridal wear, ethnic apparel, and fashion accessories aligning with market demand.
- Analyze current market trends alongside customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors to ensure smooth supply chains.
- Conduct price negotiations and guarantee timely availability of products.
- Track inventory levels and perform sales analysis to optimize buying strategies.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising and retail store teams to facilitate successful new product introductions.
Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct buying experience in bridal or ethnic wear segments.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, vendor management, and analytical problem solving.
- Competency using Microsoft Excel and retail Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
