As a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Media Sciences team based in Mumbai, India, you will play a critical role in advancing Citi's media investment and measurement strategies. Reporting to the Head of Media Sciences, you will leverage your technical proficiency and analytical expertise to manage data sourcing, analysis, reporting, and integration activities. Collaborating closely with US and Global Digital Media teams, Analytics, Acquisitions, Advertising, and Product Management, you will drive marketing ROI and help future-proof business operations.

Key Contributions

• Perform comprehensive analysis of business data, generate detailed reports, and develop insightful visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Create and maintain dashboards tracking critical KPIs to deliver actionable intelligence to various stakeholders.
• Transform business queries concerning vital metrics into meaningful dashboard views designed to elicit pertinent insights.
• Collaborate with both external vendors and internal technology teams to manage complex data landscapes, including compliance with regulations and integration of diverse data sources into centralized data warehouses.
• Conduct quality assurance on data flows and structures across systems ensuring integrity and accuracy throughout production reporting pipelines.
• Perform deep data analyses to detect trends and patterns, translating findings into strategic recommendations communicated effectively to business leaders.
• Take ownership of the dashboard and technology roadmap in conjunction with the BI lead, overseeing routine reporting and deliverable management.
• Implement operational best practices across BI platforms, supporting full project lifecycles from data acquisition and framework design to QA and delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related areas, whether in client, agency, or publisher environments.
• Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and translate numerical insights into strategic business decisions for senior management.
• Expert in BI software including Datorama, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling strategies, and ETL workflows.
• Aware of the strengths and limitations of various reporting platforms regarding visualization, customization, interactivity, database connectivity, and update frequency.
• Experience managing large datasets and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Exceptional storytelling skills for data, able to distill complex trends into compelling narratives.
• Capacity to independently manage projects requiring coordination with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating accountability and decisive work ethics.
• Well-organized and process-driven with an aptitude for delivering quality work in dynamic, fast-paced team settings.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.

Educational Background

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Business, Finance, or Statistics. Advanced degrees are preferred.
