Role Overview
TrueNorth® is seeking experienced Business Data Analysts to contribute to a significant government data transformation initiative. The role involves working within Agile Data Platform teams to articulate business needs, liaise with stakeholders, and facilitate the creation of reliable, governed data products and services. The positions are based in Newcastle, Manchester, or Birmingham, with an expectation of 40% onsite presence.
Core Responsibilities
- Gather and clarify business requirements from various sources.
- Engage collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment.
- Manage and refine product backlogs and coordinate Three Amigos sessions to promote shared understanding and quality.
- Analyze and map data processes and flows to support effective data management.
- Contribute to data governance by supporting quality control, lineage tracking, and maintaining data dictionaries.
- Ensure all data solutions comply with security policies and governance standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst within data-centric projects.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and delivery practices.
- Strong capabilities in stakeholder management and effective communication.
- Understanding of data governance principles and data quality methodologies.
- Must hold an active Security Clearance (SC).
Additional Information
Rate: £310 per day (Inside IR35)
Work Location: Newcastle, Manchester, or Birmingham with 40% onsite attendance.
Clearance Requirement: Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
