Business Analyst

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will spearhead projects across various departments from initial planning stages through full implementation. Acting as a crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, your role integrates project oversight, business process evaluation, and reporting to guarantee successful completion aligned with company goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects concurrently by creating detailed schedules, tracking key milestones, managing interdependencies, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive project plans, automate workflows, monitor project progress, and offer leadership continuous real-time updates.
• Collaborate with business units and technology teams to collect requirements, define project boundaries, and convert business goals into executable plans.
• Lead project meetings, capture decisions, track action items, and deliver clear status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Recognize potential project risks, create mitigation strategies, and proactively solve issues affecting deadlines or outputs.
• Evaluate current business procedures to spot areas for operational enhancement, automation, and improved efficiency.
• Produce detailed business process documents, visualize workflows, outline functional requirements, and recommend solutions to assist system rollouts.
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT), confirm adherence to business requirements, and oversee effective deployment of new processes and tools.
• Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate adoption of new technologies and workflows.
• Ensure high data quality, adherence to processes, and integrity of systems across enterprise applications.
• Design and upkeep interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI, SQL, and Excel to track project progress and key business metrics.
• Analyze operational datasets to identify trends, measure KPIs, and offer actionable insights supporting strategic decisions by executives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to set priorities, distribute resources, and foster ongoing improvements within organizational processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in Business Analysis roles.
• Proven expertise in project monitoring, dashboard creation, workflow automation, and generating comprehensive reports.
• Strong analytical aptitude with proficiency in SQL, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI.
• Experience in managing projects under both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of project management platforms such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational capabilities, managing multiple tasks efficiently in dynamic settings.
• Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or related project management/business analysis credentials are advantageous.
