ASBB Economics & Research Ltd is seeking a Business Analyst for a newly established position ideal for graduates or recent graduates aiming to start a career in economic and business analysis and consulting. Key Responsibilities

• Perform economic and business research supporting client projects
• Collect, clean, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative information from various sources
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets, financial models, and data sets
• Create visualizations such as charts and tables to present clear insights
• Draft and assist in creating reports, briefs, and presentations for clients
• Perform literature reviews and background research on relevant markets, industries, and policies
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and design, administer, and analyze surveys
• Assist in preparing proposals and business development documentation
• Clearly communicate findings to clients and internal teams
• Participate in client meetings and help prepare associated materials
• Effectively manage multiple project deadlines and priorities

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics preferred; alternatively, a business degree or master’s in social sciences is accepted
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent client engagement abilities
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
• Critical thinking and time management proficiency
• Valid driver's license advantageous

Location and Work Arrangement

• Currently remote position, based in Nova Scotia
• Preference for candidates residing in Quebec or Toronto
• Willingness to relocate for transition to onsite work
• Requirement to work some evening hours to meet client deadlines

Compensation

Salary ranges between $40,000 and $50,000 annually, dependent on qualifications and experience.
