Overview
Flooid is seeking a collaborative Business Analyst to join their product and engineering teams. This role involves working within an Agile framework to gather and translate business requirements into well-defined deliverables that generate value for customers. The successful candidate will act as a crucial link between stakeholders, product teams, and engineers, ensuring alignment on priorities and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to elicit precise and clear requirements, delivering solutions that meet both technical and functional business needs.
- Define requirements alongside stakeholders, control project scope, identify and escalate risks, and communicate necessary changes effectively.
- Support the development of innovative retail software products and maintain relevant documentation to support product lifecycle management.
- Work with Quality Assurance and Product Owners to prioritize and manage defect triaging.
- Review QA test scripts and execute Business Analyst user acceptance testing to confirm readiness for final approval.
- Facilitate sprint reviews and demos with stakeholders when required.
- Address customer inquiries related to product features and functions.
Candidate Requirements
- Proactive self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and strong collaboration skills to develop creative problem-solving approaches.
- Experience with project management methodologies and Agile software development, including defining user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities coupled with the confidence to inquire and challenge perspectives as needed.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills emphasizing accuracy, detail, and quality.
- Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with external clients and third-party vendors.
- Background in retail or hospitality sectors is preferred.

- This is a full-time role located remotely within the United States, requiring candidates to be in the Eastern or Central Time Zones. The primary office is in Cincinnati, Ohio.
