Overview
A client located in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract role compensated on a daily rate basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting strategic business and technology change initiatives by collaborating closely with both business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements to guide project developments.
- Develop user stories and clearly define acceptance criteria for functional deliverables.
- Map existing business processes and design improved "As Is" and "To Be" workflows.
- Facilitate workshops and maintain strong stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between business users and software development teams.
- Support Agile methodologies by participating in sprint ceremonies and adapting delivery practices accordingly.
- Assist with testing phases, training sessions, and preparing the business for system readiness.
- Produce comprehensive documentation and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Experience and Skills
- A minimum of five years of experience in Business Analysis roles.
- Proven expertise working on business change or technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation capabilities.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Visio is a plus.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
- Background in Financial Services or other regulated industries is advantageous.
