Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This role involves close collaboration with internal clients and multiple teams, transforming business needs into actionable development tasks while ensuring quality through data analysis and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal clients to translate business requirements into clear user stories and actionable tasks.
- Liaise effectively between the client team, development team, and data warehouse team under the guidance of the Delivery Lead or Product Owner.
- Play a pivotal role in data identification, data analysis, unit testing, and overseeing user acceptance testing and final sign-offs.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency to reduce defects, exceptions, and test failures, with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of all related work.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to derive specific details from broad business requirements.
- Working proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Access for effective data manipulation.
- Sound understanding of software testing procedures and test case creation.
Preferred Expertise
- Familiarity with Java and Angular development technologies.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure.
- Knowledge of Copilot is advantageous.
