Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and insightful Business Analyst to join our team full-time. This entry to mid-level role will serve as the critical link between organizational needs and technological solutions, tasked with collecting detailed requirements, scrutinizing operational processes, pinpointing enhancement opportunities, and aiding the execution of projects and strategic plans.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect, document, and assess business requirements from various stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Analyze existing workflows, processes, and systems to discover areas for optimization and improvement.
• Convert gathered business requirements into formal functional specifications, user stories, process diagrams, and business documentation.
• Partner effectively with stakeholders, project leads, developers, and operations staff to implement viable business solutions.
• Perform data analysis, evaluate business performance, and conduct process reviews to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to gather insights and unify project goals.
• Support phases of project management including planning, testing, implementation, and change management.
• Develop comprehensive business cases, reports, visual dashboards, and presentations for managerial and stakeholder use.
• Conduct gap analysis, root cause investigations, and impact assessments related to business initiatives.
• Assist with user acceptance testing to ensure solutions align with the business requirements.
• Oversee outcomes of projects and suggest improvements for ongoing refinement.
• Maintain precise business documentation, process maps, and project archives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in business analysis, operations, consulting, project coordination, or data analytical roles is advantageous.
• Strong aptitude for analytical thinking, critical problem-solving, and interpretation of complex information.
• Exceptional communication capabilities combined with effective stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Competence in collecting, documenting, and decoding intricate business prerequisites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, alongside business documentation tools.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Power BI, and Tableau is a distinct benefit.
• Knowledge of business process modeling, project management frameworks, and system implementation techniques is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills allowing the juggling of multiple priorities and timelines.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within dynamic environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
