Role Overview
The Bus Captain will be primarily responsible for overseeing the boarding process of passengers onto company buses, ensuring timely arrival at designated boarding points, and assisting passengers to their seats. This role requires maintaining bus facilities at promised standards through routine daily checks and communicating with passengers to facilitate smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the boarding of passengers efficiently and ensure punctual arrival at assigned bus stops.
- Assist passengers in locating and settling into their designated seats onboard the bus.
- Maintain a daily checklist to verify that the bus facilities meet the standards promised to customers.
- Contact passengers who are delayed to guide them to the boarding point promptly.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to address issues and enhance the overall passenger experience.
- Handle spot bookings and maintain daily financial records of such transactions.
- Travel along with the bus during journeys lasting 8 to 14 hours, returning the following day.
- Support passengers throughout the journey with respect to their needs and ensured amenities.
- Engage with customers during or after travel to collect feedback, ratings, and reviews.
