Position Overview

The Broadcast/Creative Media Intern plays a key role in assisting the Manager of Broadcasting to deliver live game broadcasts, digital content, and entertainment for the Lincoln Stars during the 2026/27 season. This immersive position offers exposure to every component of a USHL broadcast operation, including pre-production planning, live production, video editing, and managing equipment. Additionally, the intern will contribute to the team's online media presence and provide color commentary for selected away games to engage fans and enhance the overall viewer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and preparation of weekly broadcast and video materials, including team features like All-Access with the Lincoln Stars and 200 Feet.
  • Compile broadcast resources such as stats, spotting boards, player notes, storylines, pronunciation guides, and game notes.
  • Design and update broadcast visual elements such as graphics, lower thirds, sponsor visuals, and video board content.
  • Edit both short and long video segments for social media, the official website, and live broadcasts.
