About the Company
Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality business dedicated to creating distinctive local food experiences that unite communities. It manages several brands including SALT, Parker's, Somewhere, Public, Soil, Shalwa, and Kumo.
Role Overview
The Brand Executive functions as a key external design liaison, bridging communication between the company and its outside design collaborators. This position is vital in ensuring smooth communication flows, timely project delivery, quality assurance, and safeguarding of the company's intellectual property from project inception through to launch and IP protection.
Key Duties
- Serve as the primary contact for external design partners, nurturing strong relationships while enforcing confidentiality agreements prior to exchanging sensitive information.
- Oversee design-related projects by monitoring deliverables, managing deadlines, and facilitating feedback exchange among internal teams, the Managing Director, and external collaborators.
- Collaborate with internal departments to accurately consolidate and verify project data before distributing it to external designers.
- Monitor invoicing and payment activities for external associates and work with the Legal department to initiate trademarks and trade name registrations upon project completion.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in brand management, project coordination, or client-facing roles, ideally within creative, branding or design sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly conveying detailed and complex feedback professionally.
- Strong organizational capabilities with attention to detail, proven at managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of legal concepts such as NDAs, basic contracts, and intellectual property/trademark registrations is a valued advantage.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach and the ability to coordinate effectively across different internal teams while managing external partnerships efficiently.
