Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Biology Expert to contribute remotely to AI development projects by critically assessing and enhancing biological content and datasets. This contract role involves applying expert knowledge to ensure the biological data used in AI is accurate and of high quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations and provide comprehensive feedback on biology-related datasets, prompts, and content integral to AI workflows.
• Develop, analyze, and refine scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that demonstrate complex biological challenges from real-world contexts.
• Deliver expert insights to improve the correctness, relevance, and depth of AI training materials and outputs related to biological topics.
• Work closely with platform teams to resolve uncertainties and enhance the quality, breadth, and representativeness of biological data used.
• Maintain detailed documentation of methodologies, observations, and the rationale behind evaluations to support transparency and reproducibility.
• Engage actively in iterative review processes to progressively elevate the AI system’s biological understanding and performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary experts during knowledge-sharing meetings to enrich project results.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Doctorate (PhD) in Biology or a closely related life science field.
• Strong command of fundamental biological concepts with the capability to simplify complex topics for varied audiences.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, facilitating clear and precise scientific feedback.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical review of research, and synthesis of complex biological information.
• Proven track record of independent work producing reliable, high-quality deliverables within project deadlines.
• Experience contributing to projects that intersect science and technology, with AI experience considered advantageous though not essential.
