The company seeks a meticulous Billing Engineer to oversee project billing, validate quantities, and handle commercial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Client Running Account (RA) Bills, Interim Bills, and Final Bills in alignment with contract stipulations.
• Verify site-executed work against approved Bills of Quantities (BOQs), drawings, and work orders.
• Create measurement sheets and calculate quantities for completed work.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Clients to obtain bill certifications and approvals.
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely billing according to project milestones.
• Manage BOQ revisions, variation orders, extra items, and perform quantity reconciliations.
• Review and validate subcontractor and vendor bills prior to processing.
• Coordinate with the Accounts department for invoice creation and payment follow-ups.
• Maintain comprehensive billing records, including work completion certificates and measurement books.
• Track project expenses and assist in cost control and profitability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, payment schedules, and company protocols.
• Generate billing MIS reports, payment trackers, and reports on outstanding receivables.
• Support tender and estimation teams by supplying billing-related project information when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in project billing, quantity surveying, or commercial billing, preferably within Interior Fit-Out, Construction, Ceiling, Lighting, MEP, or Interior Contracting industries.

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in BOQ preparation and quantity verification.
• Hands-on experience with RA Billing, Final Billing, and Client Billing processes.
• Good understanding of contracts, work orders, and handling variation claims.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP software.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication capabilities.
• Effective coordination and time management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Background in stretch ceilings, interior fit-outs, lighting solutions, or turnkey projects.
• Experience working on retail, hospitality, or high-value commercial interior projects favored.
