Bike Mechanic

Role Overview

The Bike Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues on various bicycles, including e-bikes. This role involves performing regular maintenance, repairs, and assembly to ensure optimal bike performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults such as brake malfunctions, gear issues, suspension problems, and e-bike systems.
• Carry out tune-ups, replace worn or defective components like chains, tires, and brake pads, and lubricate essential moving parts.
• Assemble new bicycle units from boxes, adhering closely to manufacturer guidelines and customer requirements.
• Engage with customers to explain repair needs, provide cost estimates, and recommend suitable upgrades or accessories.
• Manage workshop inventory by monitoring replacement parts stock levels and ensuring the workshop is maintained in a tidy, safe, and well-organized manner.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Open to candidates with relevant mechanical aptitude and interest in bicycle maintenance and repair.
