About the Role
We have an exciting position open for an experienced Batcher at our Allied Concrete Plant located in Nelson. This hands-on role reports directly to the Branch Manager and includes a variety of tasks such as scheduling deliveries, precise batching of high-quality concrete, managing raw materials, and overseeing plant safety and quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing the batching of concrete accurately in line with quality standards
- Coordinating and scheduling concrete deliveries efficiently
- Managing inventory and raw materials to ensure continuous operations
- Maintaining strict adherence to plant safety and quality control procedures
- Collaborating with team members to support plant operations
Candidate Requirements
- Willingness to start early shifts prior to sunrise
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
- Flexibility with working hours
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
